I really feel that this was a pantomime that had class –  it ran well from beginning to end and was very slick.  All the characters were portrayed in excellent fashion by the talented cast who had obviously been well rehearsed.

The lovely story of Peter Pan and the lost boys works well as a pantomime with a narrator, and Shar Turnbull did a great job in keeping us up to date with the story, sitting in her rocking chair and making us feel that the story was really being told to us.

Monique Loosemore gave a wonderful representation of the boy who so wanted a mother but was bold and daring at the same time.  Lovely performances from the Darling family with Aimee Eaton as Wendy, Mackenzie Lilley as John, Max Terry as Michael with Manda Tester and John Walsh as their parents.

Great fun was given by Martin Holder as Lady Helena Swimsbadly, pure wickedness from Zack Fenrir as Captain Hook and general naughtiness and jealousy from Tinkerbell played delightfully by Mollie Furminger.  Also great performances from all those portraying the Lost Boys – Evie Heal, Alexis Lilley, Kiana Tuckey, Darcey Puttock-West, Callum Terry and Isobela Giles.

There are so many other characters in this story who all play their part and those concerned had all been very well cast:  Smee (John Tester), One-Eyed Willy (Steve Llewelyn), Roger the cabin boy (Panos Christofi), Starkey (John Walsh), Terry (Dom Avey), Sitting Water (Stephanie Verrall) and Tiger Lily (Maisie-Rae Catton) not forgetting Sarah Eaton for her lovely cameo roles as Nana and the Crocodile!  All these performances were very enjoyable, not forgetting the ensemble.

Donna Bull who designed the set must be congratulated along with all those looking after construction and decoration. Thanks to Hilary Ryan and Cath Brooks, the costumes looked wonderful and the Band led by Russell Taylor gave extremely good support to the cast.

Many congratulations to Director Donna Bull, Asst. Director Sarah Eaton, MD Russell Taylor, Vocal Coach Panos Christofi and Choreographer Stuart Hall and all those involved whether on stage or behind the scenes and of course to Nanny Cook (Marilyn Nolan) and her team for making sure that everything front of house was just right.
