PETER PAN

This pantomime written by Paul Barron was loosly based on the very well known story of Peter Pan. There were a number of well played performances by the principals but I did find the show rather disjointed and the story hard to follow. The Darling children Wendy (Alice Fearnley) Michael (Iwan Jones) and John (Ethan Nicholson) all gave most assured performances. Eleanor Aldous (Peter Pan) acted the role with great confidence and style and was well supported by Sarah Clarkson as Tinkerbell. The comedy was in the hands of Sue Sheppard (Barnacle) and Lee Gray (Plank). Trevor Jones gave a most convincing performance as the vicious Captain Hook. Paul Barron (The Dame children's nana) was without question the string that held this production together a very fine contribution in all aspects.
