PATIENCE

HLO set their production of Patience in a twentieth century retirement village.

Elizabeth Malone does a great job as director. She has developed a well-rehearsed and closely connected group of players and created a very polished and professional show.

As musical director and organist, Lee Dewsnap delivered an exceptional performance. From the first bar I was carried away with the music and felt part of the story. Conductor Matthew Mewton also delivered a great performance, achieved with enormous enthusiasm and zeal.

Without exception, the whole cast provided excellent, clear, and expressive voices with vivid comedic interpretations. Each character felt lively, fresh, and entertaining. Whilst each performer deserves a mention, suffice it to say that I was very impressed with the standard of performances across the board.
