A well-written 1970s farce about a PM with a secret liking for whisky and cigarettes, a Chancellor proposing to tax all enjoyable things to extinction, and a thirty-year-old party conference sin surfacing in the shape of an exotic dancer desperate to scotch the proposals. Fine farce reasons for her, two other young ladies and the PM's wife to appear in their underwear - all well played and hugely funny, as were the dancer's mother and the young male secretary with his "Pardon me, Prime Minister".
