Orphans

This performance was the culmination of a week’s youth workshop and what a terrific performance it was too!  The audience in the packed hall were amazed to see just how much work had been covered and in a very short period of time.

The production drew on inspirations from other shows involving orphans and allowed many of the group to show-off their talents and ever-increasing confidence.

The singing was terrific and really stood out as a real achievement of ability, effort and focus. The movement and choreography was also really effective and well-executed and suited to the group.

There were strong performances from those with solo dialogue and singing lines as every word could be heard through strong diction and projection, with great support from the rest of the cast.

An enthusiastic audience loved every minute of it, demanding an encore that the cast selected themselves!

Thank you Clogettes for a wonderful afternoon’s entertainment  - you continue to get better and better!   Well done to Poppy, Lucy and Ella in particular for all of the effort in making this happen and ensuring the right levels of practice took place to create such a polished performance.
