Ricky pulled out all the stops for this Restoration Comedy for Modern Times celebrating the orange seller who became our first actor-ess and then the King's mistress, who didn't want to be and never was a Lady. A fabulous performance by Nell, supported superbly by the King's Company of Players (comic and educational) and then the King himself. All made very special by home-written music (on recorders) for the songs and the scene changes, perfect back-projected scenery, superb lighting and sound and the period costumes designed for the show and made by the 19 Costume Builders named in the programme.
