ROS Musical Theatre presented the ever popular Lerner & Loewe musical "My Fair Lady" for their Spring production. In this enlightened world the theme of this show has been criticised for being one of bullying and misogyny. As a consequence the recent US revival renewed its approach and adjusted the ending to exclude any romantic connection between Higgins & Eliza. This ROS production was more traditional but underplayed the romance and it seemed perfectly acceptable to the audience. The talented cast and chorus provided an enjoyable evening presenting one of the most popular musicals of all time.
