This was a spectacular and fitting celebration of 100 years of musical theatre presentations. A cast of forty current and returning members combined to give some excellent company, small group and solo performances of songs selected from that 100 year repertoire. The show was ambitious in scale, with no less than forty-one songs taken from thirty- three shows. Opportunities given to individuals not usually featured as soloists were not wasted, while more experienced performers excelled themselves. Company numbers were cleverly choreographed for movement as well as dancers able to demonstrate their talents. The main strength was however in the vocal work in a huge variety of styles.
