Robin Jennifer Miller`s play is set in Maple Lodge, a retirement home for actors.  This murder mystery was `peppered` with humour and offered what might be expected from a `crinkly` home full of acting has-beens. There were old rivalries and divas amongst the residents and grudges held against one in particular.  Needless to say, this `one` is murdered following a spate of poisoned letters.  Revenge is at the centre of this thriller, which eventually reveals the unexpected culprit.

It is a drama which relies heavily on dialogue and although the actors needed more pace, their characterisations were convincing. The set was effective and the overall composition well executed. The snow fall effect had the `wow` factor and the prompt was under-used. Given that the drama was very wordy, this was quite an achievement. Everyone concerned had worked hard and there were some solid performances. A pleasant evening with some competent acting, let down in parts by the actual script.
