This pantomime was extremely well cast with nearly all the roles played by very experienced performers. Colin (Amanda Marsden) and Jill (Jessica Bellas) both sang, danced and acted with great charm and a lovely sense of style and full of confidence. Mother Goose (Adam Schewtschuk) was a fine dame carrying on the tradition of super dames this society has had. Gareth Jones (Silly Billy) covered every inch of the stage with a most energetic and entertaining performance, he was well supported by Chris Hall (Bumpkin) and Lisa Cockroft (Bogtrotter) in the comedy department. Alan Sykes (Squire Moneybags) had the audience in fits of laughter with a super stuttering performance not easy to keep up all through the show. Melanie Harrison (Fairy Fortune) and Ian Harknett (Demon Discontent) kept the goodie-baddie theme going all through the show playing off each other to great effect. Queen Goosegog and her assistant Princess Goosinder (Jenny Alexander and Olivia Griffin) played well adding much charm to the production along with a most endeering Goose Priscilla (Andrea Carter). The chorus and dancers were very well choreographed and the sets and costumes contributed much to the excellent production.
