Some things don't change in pantomime season, one is that the Pontefract Pantomime Society will get more on stage than any other society and that Eric Arundell will always give us a master class on how to play a Dame role, he never fails to win the audience over when he asks for sympathy. Alison Knox (Colin) and Ellie Lighthowler (Jill) were very confident in both singing and acting and Connor Lovell was an entertaining Billy Gosling as Mother Goose's daft son. Joanne Sykes was oustanding as the Evil Demon character a really super performance. The costumes as usual were very good, however do they manage to make so many? Congratulations to all involved with them. All the music was well selected and sung. The scenery was excellent as were the props and the fine lighting and sound which did much to enrich this pantomime.
