Me and my Girl is perhaps one of the most loved shows, full of wonderful comedy and exciting musical numbers which the cast and company performed in great style. Janet Lodge and Martin Millward gave excellent interpretations as the old battleaxe Duchess and the rather pompous Sir John Tremayne. Pippa Slater revelled in the role as the temptress (Lady Jacqueline). Steve Padfield gave a delightful performance as the cheeky cockney character Bill Snibson, he found all the comedy that this part exudes. I was so thrilled by Katie Hoyle's portrayal of Sally Smith (the cockney girl) this was Katie's first leading role which she played with supreme confidence both singing and actingwise and proved well worthy of the NODA Summer School Bursury she has been awarded, held at Warwick University. Thanks to the production team for a most entertaining show.
