Since the enforced silent period that was Covid and its sequelae, KLOS finally successfully presented their first full scale musical production "Me and My Girl". The nine piece orchestra rang out beautifully with those familiar toe-tapping Noel Gay tunes and we were joyfully transported back to 1930s London town.  This very British rags to riches story of the cockney costermonger (heir-apparent to Hareford Hall Estate) and his girlfriend, who win over the aloof nobility with their innocent charm, was told delightfully by these very talented leads and a good, disciplined team of chorus and dancers. This entertaining happy show helped to relieve the gloom of the times we live in - especially with numbers like "Lambeth Walk" where the audience was eager to join in with the cast.
