MAOS Goes Platinum

MAOS’s 70th birthday production is a significant milestone, and I would like to offer warm congratulations to everyone involved over the years. The new venue proved to be impressive—well equipped and providing an excellent setting for the performance. While I would suggest that front-of-house teams be better briefed about visiting NODA representatives in future, I must give particular praise to the technical support, especially the Sound Engineer, for their assistance and professionalism.

Although there was no printed souvenir programme available on the night, the show featured a varied and well-chosen selection of musical numbers, reflecting MAOS’s repertoire from recent decades. Direction and choreography was excellent, with the cast delivering strong characterisation and energy, and high standards evident in costumes, staging, and technical delivery. Standout numbers included 9 to 5, Cell Block Tango, and Raise Your Voice. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.
