Last performed by Concept Players ten years ago and I was so pleased I had been there. First performed on Broadway in 1962, and now back with another successful tour in Abergavenny again with their firm following !

Ever brilliant, this company show what immaculate stage craft and the commitment to excellence by every one on stage really means.

The result is there to see with the audience totally involved and loving every minute throughout.  Most of these actors play multiple roles to their credit switching with high skill from character to character.

Little Me, the story of Belle a girl in a turmoil and her rise from rags to riches so she can ‘fit in’ and be one of the social class of the snobbish love of her life Noble Ecclestone and is without doubt and not everyone knows this it is a top show for being screamingly funny!

The ensemble in this company are one, they move and sing as a moving sea creating one voice and achieving this is technique of the highest concentration brilliant!

Ellie Hoare as Older Belle was magnificent her posture, diction, golden voice and superb stage presence and with the outstanding multi talented Paul Buckle as Noble Ecclestone  (+ amazingly also seven other characters) they were so right the perfect send up pairing!

Rhiannon Rose as Younger Belle/Baby also played an excellent role, superb timing and her pathos crisp Andrew Corbett was a scene stealer as Bernie Buxgrave

Effortless ‘Fosse’ like moves choreography from Adam Pitt and cool grooving in the boogy woogy gave us pizzazz like no other

Chris Powell always a force on stage with his Val du Val and Mr Kleeg and other parts and Bentley the Butler from Steve Davies was a gem

Congratulations Ruairidh Macloed Lyon Director MD Dave Thompson and musicians gave us that evocative swing sound Well done all the team Very stylish costumes enhanced, set, lighting sound, backstage, professional
