Lilies on the Land
Shinfield Players Theatre, SPT
Unable to play before now because the Winston Churchill Theatre had been a vaccine hub, and still having to use the much smaller Compass, ROS delighted the audiences in its sold-out run. Eight talented young Sorority Girls/Greek Chorus led the way in wonderfully varied choreography, assisted by a versatile company of all ages, the villains sufficiently villainous and the goodies really loveable, in support of their Elle Woods, superb in every aspect of the role, telling the fairy-tale story of how and why she became a lawyer.
