A completely different type of show this year from their superb production of Phantom of the Opera last year.  This is an extremely funny award-winning musical adapted by Amanda Brown from the book by Heather Hatch, with music and Lyrics by Laurence O' Keef and Neil Benjamin.

Legally Blonde was an excellent choice of show for this youth society, an opportunity for these indiviuals to prove they are good all round entertainers.  This production bounced along full of enthusiasm from begining to end.  The show had oodles of little cameo character parts that gave an opportunity for the youngsters to prove what they are capable of.  There  were lots of strong indiviual performances with each character giving 100%.

It follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams as it takes you from Sorority Houses through to the Halls of Justice.

Elle Woods, (Emily Barker) made this demanding role her own, she is almost never off stage except for the mabny costume changes.  Emmett, (Noah Marescaux) the law teaching assistant and the one she eventually falls for, proudced an impressive performance both acting and singing.

Lots of comedy from Paulette, a woman of the world and her UPS delivery man (Anya Carragher and Adam Megson).  Elle's boyfriend Warner, (Brandon H. Ward) who dumped Elle for someone more 'serious' gave a good portrayal along with Vivienne, (Naomi Ashforth) Elle's love rival.

Excellent portrayals from Professor Callahan (Kieran Constable) and Brooke (Lauren Teal).  There were two beautiful little dogs who behaved perfectly on stage, the audience loved them.

The props team worked hard to keep everything moving along at a good pace with excellent lighting.

Om My God!  Well done everyone, looking forward to seeing Guys and Dolls next year.
