The choice of this pantomime was a real change for the group.
The central characters were all experienced members of the company with Jamie Bleakley as Merlin, Georgia Jones as King Arthur and Kellie Chan as Guinevere. There was an excellent contribution from Chloe Worthington as Roger the Jester, who seemed so natural on the stage and of course faultless characterisation from Cara Pritchard as Dame Dotty. Cara had a good rapport with the audience and gave us many comical moments. Megan Pritchard earned all the hisses and boos as the formidable Mordred who the audience adored, with henchmen Storm Bartley and Emma Edwards as Num and Skull respectively. Hannah Coulson, Sorcha Barry and Michaela Booker all gave positive performances as Sir Dancelot, Sir Real and Sir Loin respectively.
Chorus singing was most enthusiastic with well-executed dance routines. All cast and chorus were beautifully dressed for each scene which is typical of this Company, with good sets and lighting adding to what was an enjoyable pantomime.
