What a pleasure to be invited to watch a play!Key for Two by John Chapman and Dave Freeman, a farce in the true tradition of the word!

Sexy Harriet (Jane Sinclair), a divorcee, is strapped for cash and entertains two gentlemen to help make ends meet. Both the gentlemen are married and although they usually appear at different times the inevitable happens and they appear at the same time. Gordan (Martyn Lewis) and Alec (Phil Davies) are the two gentlemen.

Anne (Angie Dymott} a friend of Harriet comes to visit and soon gets involved in the entertainment of the two gentlemen. This gets even more complicated by the arrival oh her inebriated husband Richard(Simon Fletcher) and finally to add more confusion leading to an hilarious final scene the two wives Magda(Julia Hallinan) and Mildred (Brenda Slaughter}

After a rather slow start, the play gathered pace and certainly finished on a high.

Well done to Richard Jones on his debut as a Director. Comedy is not the easiest to cut your teeth on, so well done.

Thanks for the invite Hilltop
