JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT

After a break of over Eighteen months what a wonderful way to get back into the swing of things  by attending this very entertaining presentation by Ferndown Drama. 

The Chairman  of the group, Steve Hawker, who was MC for the evening, started by giving and insight into how they had managed to survive the last eighteen months.  He explained that  the directors had devised the show so that it did not require lots of company rehearsals and many could be held via the new media of Zoom meetings.

With lots of original material, written by the directors, “Just for the hell of it “  was a selection of musical numbers, sketches, poems and readings all loosely related to the theme of Halloween.

There were several excellent musical numbers, lots of comedy, together with some sombre moments. I thought that the original material was very clever and well thought out. Overall it was all very well done and proved to be an excellent evening’s entertainment.
