With reminiscences of an End of the Pier Show Dewsbury Collegians were able to put on a good show which entertained the audience filling the room with some great applause and plenty of laughs.

Starting with Comedy Tonight the 17 strong cast soon got us in the right mood, this was followed by a great rendition of Everybody Ought to have a Maid from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum which the audience lapped up.

There were other very memorable sketches and songs in this show such as a Radio Mix Up, the old favourite The Ballad of Barry and Freda, Capstick Comes Home, Imaginary Friend and a hilarious performance of Little Jimmy Brown which almost brought the house down.

The show moved swiftly on throughout the evening with a sketch called Same Time Next Week which had the audience in stitches, a very funny number called Shopping at Lidl and The Song That Goes Like This from Spamalot proving there was something for everyone and judging by the audience there certainly was.

Congratulations to Chris Nuttall, Producer, Wendy Nuttall, Choreographer and Jack Warlop, Musical Director for a most enjoyable evening.
