JUKEBOX & THE BLUES BROTHERS & SOUL SISTERS

This production was in two parts the 1st half was Jukebox and the 2nd half was The Blues Brothers & Soul Sisters. Jukebox was a very fast moving presentation of very well known pop music from the last seven decades. The production team of Sarah Hardy, Jessica Beever, Katie Hoyle, Emma Jeffreys & Vicky Maw are to be congratulated on the excellent singing and superb choreography. The music section had us all singing along with much enjoyment.The Blues Brothers & Soul Sisters is again a collection of well known modern music but of a somewhat different style to the 1st half. The Blues Brothers (Richard Longbottom & Matt Warren) were outstanding both in singing and dancing with great energy and enthusiasm and the Soul Sisters (Alison Berry, Joanna Honour & Emma Jeffreys) gave great backing with their singing and the dancing was again of a very high standard. The set and excellent costumes and very good sound all added up to a great night's entertainment.
