This show has two main characters which are both very demanding, in terms of singing and pure stamina, to be able to carry it off for any length of time and the two young people who played in this production had it all. The part of the Narrator was played by Lucie Cooper who was able to sing her way through a vast number of songs as well as remembering all the various colours of Joseph’s coat, a feat which I am sure would have fazed the most seasoned performers, Lucie did this with ease and kept her infectious smile up all the way through. The other part I mentioned is that of the lead role of Joseph, not only did Jacob Steers sing all the songs with ease but he commanded the stage whenever he entered. I have seen this young man on several occasions and his talent improves with every show he does. There are far too many characters to give everyone a mention in this show, after all Joseph has eight brothers but mention must be made of Jake Lomas who not only played Simeon but also the Butler and Baker in this piece. His professionalism when battling with a wayward false moustache was brilliant and he kept this up all the way through the number until he finally succumbed and threw it over his shoulder, causing an uproar from the audience.  Well done Take 2 and thank you for an enjoyable evening.
