Another winner for Halifax Light Opera Society Juniors, this show must be the jewel in their crown, the colourful scenery, fabulous lighting, lovely costumes and clever effects all produced by the society's own back stage team

The cast was headed by Ethan Marescaux, one fast developing youg man who made a magnificent Joseph,(eat your heart out Lee Mead) a very accomplished singer, actor and mover.  I am sure he has a great future ahead of him. He was extremely well supported by Dominic Moska, (Judah) Pharaoh (Henry Foulkes) and all his brothers, even the femaile ones.  They all gave enthusiastic and commendable performances.  The cast had two Narrators, (Georgia Mae Bloxham) and (Philippa Freeman) both with strong singing voices, and they told the story beautifully.

Over the Entr'acte in act two they showed a film of different scenes from act one which kept the continuity going for the audience.  Catherine Otyehel did  an excellent job of Dance Captain, the show was full of vitality and enthusiastic movement.  Another former junior Ned Smith the Musical Director joined the soceity at the age of nine when he played the role of Tiny Tim in Scrooge.  How delightful to see these junior society's encouraging these youngsters in every aspect of their talent.

My sincere congratulations to all involved, they certainly deserved the stand ovation they received at the end of their performance.
