JACK AND THE BEANSTALK

The cast worked very hard to give the audience plenty of involvement and enjoyment. Jack (Emma Jeffreys) and Jill (Charlotte Best) sang their vocal numbers confidently despite some gremlins in the sound system. Matt Warren worked his socks off as the very lively Simple Simon, never seen him do comedy before, there is always a first time for everyone. Katie Hoyle was a most impressive and charming fairy. The Giant was very impressive and was well performed. The show owed much to the well drilled dancers, even the costume mishap in the 'Happy Song' number did not phase them they just carried on dancing.
