What a way to spend an evening in the company of such an enthusiastic and talented cast who thoroughly enjoyed every minute of what they were doing. And their audience were part and parcel of the production cheering and shouting which added to the great atmosphere. Linda Birch had again written the script and Directed the show with good help from numerous other people. The children were the hit of the show for me with everyone of them reacting to all the Libretto and singng and dancing with great gusto. Carolyn Dickinson had produced some great costumes and also was a very evil and powereful Witch well matched by the Fairy Forget-me-not (Nicky Knightley). Principal Boy (Emma Smith ) & Principal Girl (Jill Trump) engaged the audience with their singing, the Dame (David Waugh) was energetic and comical with good comedy support from Simon Trott (Dean Patrick) and Candy Anne (Jenny Turner). The rest of the cast gave of their all with the backstage crew handling the changes of scene very efficiently. The whole was a very entertaining production which showed what can be done on a small stage with very limited facilities.
