This was a very enjoyable Cabaret style show of Christmas and Christmas-related song. Something for everyone with old and new music together and a little bit of light hearted comedy. The company once again used a team of very talent and enthusiastic children, one or two who were determined to steal the show, to add to the Christmas spirit.
It was all well sung with lovely musical arrangements and delightful choreography. For me the outstanding number of the evening was a beautiful duet “Feliz Navidad”. Which was sang partly in Spanish by Karl and Clairelouise I was also very impressed by the powerful voice of Ollie, a young boy, singing “I believe In You” with Claire A. A star of the future I think. The Frogs chorus by the children certainly raise a few smiles and the rendition of “Nobody loves a fairy when she’s 40 was a show stopper, very funny.
This most enjoyable evening was a very nice start to the festive season.
