IN THE MOOD

This was a most enjoyable production by B.A.T.S. of war time 40's music and sketches of old favourites such as 'In The Box', it never fails. The entire packed programme of some 36 items was devised, produced and choreographed by Frank Hammond who also sang and acted in many of the numbers. All the numbers were well sung by the chorus with some very excellent solo contributions from some of the members. We were reminded of some old time stars such as Max Miller, Rob Wilton, Jimmy James, Gracie Fields, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland, George Formby and Vera Lynn. The show was well organised and ran very smoothly. The good basic set and the fine costumes along with the excellent musical arrangements gave an enthusiastic audience a most enjoyable evening.
