Hook

The start of the panto season really sets the scene for Christmas and this was an excellent production that had all the traditional elements.  There was enough that was familiar and comfortable plus enough variation to make it challenging and interesting.  Self penned and innovative this was an excellent curtain raiser to the festive season.

The big numbers that opened and closed each act were done well with the whole cast involved.  I liked the steps inspired “tragedy” that opened the second act and the use of “Walking on Sunshine” and “Don’t Stop” which sandwiched an amazing skit to close the show.
