The Chameleons ADS chose the perfect play for their presentation during the glorious heatwave of early July, giving their audience a nostalgic taste of summer holidays in the 1950s - a reminder of times of simpler pleasures! This stage play of Hi-De-Hi!  was created by combining a couple of the sixty episodes shown on television back in the 1980s namely "A Night Not to Remember" and "Maplins International" together with "Trouble & Strife", an additional subplot involving Ted and his ex-wife. The play provided an entertaining dip into the past in true "Carry-On" style. The delightful Yellow Coats were affectionately and cleverly reproduced by this talented company. Presented in the 'round' this production was full of energy, colour and enthusiasm - great entertainment.
