From the opening scene to the last notes on the walk down, this was a full on show, full of talent, full of fun, full of the music we love.

Zoe Sears ( Tracy Turnblad) was a bundle of energy and gave us a great performance.

Also well suited to their roles and giving good performances were Mali-Wen Davies (Penny Pingleton) Carys Jones (Amber Von Tussle) Jennifer Cule (VelmaVon Tusle) James Dyer (Corny Collins) and Daniel Thomas (Link Larkin) Damon Miles (Wilbur Turnblad)  and Cath Davies (Prudy Pringleton)

I was very impressed with the way the black characters and chorus were dealt with; the illusion was given by the use of black wigs and slightly darker make-up. Nothing (in my opinion), that could cause offence. Tom Evans (Seaweed J. Stubbs) Mia Edwards( Little Inez) and Julie Griffiths ( Motormouth Maybelle) has the singing and movement that suited the roles perfectly, Well done.

And what can I say about scene stealer Gavin Nelson ( Edna) an excellent performance, funny and moving and in my opinion the best performance of this part I have seen on the amateur stage.

The costumes from Ace were stunning and very good use was made of the set, given the limited space on side of stage.

Well directed, well choreographed and well sung, you should all be very proud of yourselves.

Thank you for inviting me to this great show.
