A sparkling show, full of youth, enthusiasm and talent, which got a standing ovation not only from the younger element in the audience. Spectacularly staged with a brilliant Tracy Turnblad, well-played and sung supporting roles, superb choreography performed well by all, lovely costumes and very special wigs. A perfectly observed characterisation of large lady Edna Turnblad must be in the running for an award nomination in 2016 - but in which category: best female or best male?
