We really enjoyed this production by the young members of Kaleidoscope, their enthusiasm & obvious enjoyment held us from the start. The production was slick, well timed, no pauses, no gaps in continuity.

This Society has many talented your performers notably the “villain of the piece”, Theo Salisbury as Horrible Herman. He held the audience from his first entrance, he managed to be evil, funny, frightening & sad as the story progressed. When he led the Community Song (Sweet Caroline!) at the end the audience loved him.

The choice of music was good, well known to most of the audience & the many dance routines carried out without putting a foot wrong.

The costumes were “interesting”. The large chorus were dressed in “fantasy” outfits, no two were alike but produced a stage full of life & colour. There were good costume changes for the dancers when they became part of the story. The little ones stole the show when they joined the main chorus for some items.
The Three Bears wore large costume “bear heads”, so much better than baggy brown, furry outfits.

Molly (Moli Phillips):  A good, strong, mature character, could hear every word.
Silly Willy (Ioan Charles): A very talented, energetic young boy who played this difficult part so well. Full of life & enthusiasm, could hear every word.
Goldilocks (Lil Ela Williams): Confident, good voice & could move & dance well. The costume did not do her justice, we would not have given her loose fitting, yellow satin!

From the opening scene to grand finale this show was a credit to Jenna & her team. The enjoyment from the stage was infectious. This large cast were very well rehearsed & entertained their large audience. Thank you once again ‘Kaleidoscope’ for your invitation, it was a pleasure to attend.
