A musical play written by Louise Roche for five women, (four and one ghost) who have been friends from their school days.  This was a sell-out off Broadway in 2009.

On a wild, tearful, joyous evening out at a Karaoke night club, set in England, the time now, the five are out on the town to celebrate the engagement of their sadly deceased friend's daughter Candi-Rose.  They re-live their past and look forward to their future, Sharon's daughter is getting married and the fact that Sharon has been dead for twenty years due to a motor bike accident certainly isn't going to spoil the enjoyment of their evening.

The whole production is narrated by Sharon (the Ghost) their dead friend, they do not realise she is with them as they laugh, cry, fight and sing on this joyous occasion.  There are also flash backs to their school days as they tell their story. This group of friends are out to thoroughly enjoy life despite it's trials and complications.

Sharon, Carol, Lisa, Anita and Kate, ( Hannah Berry, Sheelagh Forsyth, Christine Shoesmith, Kay Tee Pennant) each one delivered a fantastic portrayal of their character, everyone totally different, each one bringing absolute commitment to their role.  They all had superb voices as they delivered every girlie anthem you can think of, songs like It's Raining Men, My Guy, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend and of sourse I will survive.

Good staging, excellent sound and lighting all helped to make a wonderful evenings entertainment.  Congratulations to all.
