GHOST is a relatively new show that has its origin in the 1990 film starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg and is proving to be a great hit at both the box office and with society members. Ghost does not have perhaps the easiest score to learn in some areas but was well performed by the company. The cast of the four main roles was outstanding Sam Wheat (Scott Johnson) sang well and gave a very convincing acting performance as the ghost after he is murdered by a mugger. Molly Jensen (Catherine Harban) who is madly in love with Sam gave us a lovely portrayal of the role as the brokenhearted girlfriend with great acting and very well controlled vocals. Oda Mae Brown (Rachel Marshall) has again played a role that might just have been written for her as the slightly dodgy psychic. She loves playing these character parts that so suit her. Carl Bruner (Chris Moss) the big friend of Sam and Molly (who turns out to be not such a good friend in fact) was played with total conviction in a good style. The whole production was well produced and choreographed with well thought out stage sets and excellent lighting and sound. Congratulations to all involved - another fine show by W.W.R.T.C.
