We started with a packed stage for the opening. Lovely red and white costumes, great choreography, a nice medley of songs and lots of beaming smiles.

This was followed by “On Hold”. This was a nice funny sketch with onepersontrying to order a pizza and getting the dreaded “choose option 1 or choose option 2”. We have all been in this situation and the audience enjoyed the comedy.

This was followed by “The Great Gangsby” scene. We were entertained with a Charleston dance that had some great choreography. Great songs suchas“All that jazz” and “Ain’t she sweet”. Fabulous costumes, beautiful flapper dresses and great red dresses for “Fat Sam’s Grand Slam”. Thought the tap dancing was great.

Next we moved onto “Doop Doop”, where we saw some funny dancing which had the audience chuckling.

Next we had “BST British Summer Time”. The cast were sporting somelovelyyellow t shirts which brightened the stage. “Mr Blue Sky” had some great singing and “Raindrops keep falling on my head” had great choreography with the must have use of umbrellas as did “Singing in the rain”.”The sunhas got his hat on” had great actions. The audience has a surprise with “The sun and rain”as we experienced spots of rain throughout the auditorium. Have a feeling some water pistols were around.

“The Leg-end of King Arether” was a clever comedy sketch based around King Arthur and the sword in the stone. This had lots of comedy.

“The Big Clear Out”was a rock and roll medley. Great idea for the cast to wear rock group t shirts such as Nirvana and Rolling stones and also leather jackets. This made the scene accurate for the era.I did find the drums too loud for “I love rock and roll”. So that is something to be careful of next time.”We will rock you” had great choreography and I did like “the worm”in “The Boys are back in town”. It was a nice touch with a real vintage motor bike at thefront ofthe stage. The drumming scene didn’t quite work as the timing was out, but something to work on.

Act 2 began with “Now you see us” a delightful magic scene with lots of magic tricks. The tap dancing in “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo” was great. I particularly liked the solo baton twirler, who showed her expertise with two batons andaerial twists and throws. Lovely costumes with lots of sparkles.

This was followed by the“Yer Tis” farmers and their Yeo Valley rap. Great comedy and lots of weather jokes.

“The Parade” followed with red, white and blue costumes. Elizabeth1st, HenryVIII and Queen Victoria graced us with their presence on stage, in beautiful, elaborate costumes. “Killer Queen” had some fabulous choreography and“I’m Henry the eighth” was another great performance.

This was followed by “New Blues”, an entertaining comedy sketch withnewsreaders.

“Disco Fever” brought us “Disco Inferno”, “We are family” and “Car Wash”amongst many others. Great thought had been put into the “Car Wash” scenewith buckets and sponges for props. Then it was the audience’s turn to sing“The sun has got his hat on” with all the actions. A bit of heckling from the audience all added to the fun.

The finale brought us more fabulous singing and dancing. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance. Great costumes and choreography with lovely singing. The cast of all ages, the back stage crew, musicians, wardrobe people and everyone involved should be very proud of such a great production.

A fantastic evening of entertainment.Thank you for inviting me.
