Frozen Jr

Disney’s world famous film and musical Frozen is magical, and this magic was sprinkled all over this fantastic company of performers as Toppers gave their special production of the year at the Beaufort Theatre.Brilliant magical effects brought spectacle and excitement, a fantastic atmosphere in the theatre and the audience reaction said it all with their applause and standing ovation and wonderful to see so many youngsters in the audience, all dressed for the occasion in sparkle!

The talented cast brought scenes alive and all parts(well cast)did brilliantly with their characterisations.  A young enthusiastic cast full of confidence, showed very creative dancing,with excellent choreography skillfully within their cast range of ability and full of slick energised movement.

The Princesses  who in true Disney style gave their emotional story of good overcoming evil with great expression.

Elsa played by Ebony Gould  is multi  talented as a singer and actor, beautiful voice perfect for these Disney numbers. The contrasting personality of Anna played well by CJ Lewis brought scenes alive. Along with Middle Anna, Ava Gauci and Young Anna, Ava Kerr.  Middle Elsa, Scarlett Doyle and Young Elsa, Amelie Jones also gave excellent support. A powerful performance of Kristoff was given by Max Kerr and reindeer Sven played well and brought alive by Hazel Pearce.

A spirited and confident performance from Lacey- Dee Jones bringing great humour to the special lovable part of  magical snowman Olaf.

A Regal King Agnarr, Madison Buckley and Queen Iduna, Ruby Phillips  commanded the stage and Hans and Wesleton- Regan and Zakk Llewelleyn gave their all to these characters bringing them to life.

Excellent work from Backstage Alex Mc Intosh  and Matt Tovey Technical- Vision UK.

Director Olivia Bird , Assistant Director Choreographer  and Dance Tutor Millie Price and Dance Tutor and choreographer  Hannah Powell can be proud of their hard work and dedication with these young people and it was rewarding to see a production with so many children and a limited stage moved so well on stage and with swift entrances and exits and so important excellent diction.
