Footloose

Moving rapidly between multiple small scenes, Footloose could be a challenging production to stage in the relatively small Bob Hope Theatre, however, simple sets and props coordinated with lighting changes allowed the action to flow almost non-stop, keeping things moving, and ensuring the energy did not drop throughout the show. It was especially good to see the cast contributing to the furniture moving in character – if these things are to be done in front of the audience, why not make it a feature, rather than try to hide it, certainly in this production, it worked very well.
