Fame

This young cast of just over 50 of the Junior members of the Society performed this amazing rendition of Fame just as if they were there at the real Academy, from the moment their audition results came through to the moment of their graduation. The story follows their various ups and downs in life, their friendships and how they learn about life from, and their reactions to, each other.  This was all accomplished with the help of backing tracks which sometimes, during the underscoring, just overpowered the dialogue a touch and together with the accents rather lost some of the plot.  This however did not detract from the good singing and dancing, particularly from the Principals and the ‘adults’ of the cast brought out every essence of comedy from the script. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their evening, cast and audience alike.
