Thank you for inviting me to your production of “Everybody’s Talking About Shakespeare” which is KATS’ second foray into a review show featuring the bard.

This was a fun evening with the cast enjoying performing sketches and songs with a ‘Shakespearian’ theme. The show brought a mix of monologues, duologues and group sketches along with solos, duets and ensemble songs and some energetic choreography. The cast of 18 (along with a couple of cameos from the stage crew) worked very well together, bouncing off each other and delivering each of their pieces with clarity, perfect timing and a good deal of humour. Together members of the cast performed sketches and songs which show cased their ability to adopt a character and perform with good comedic timing and well-developed relationships.

We were also treated to a delicious ploughman’s supper during the interval, and it was lovely to chat with other audience members during the meal. All in all, this was another good production from KATS, full of great acting and singing, well done! I look forward to joining you again.
