Do You hear the people Sing

This revue was made up of well known shows but gave us a mixture of favourites and not so well  known musical numbers.
Starting with “Wicked” through “School of Rock” “Jesus Christ Superstar” “Phantom”” Lion King” and ending with “Les Mis” we were treated to a wealth of talent  from the youngest member to the adult performers.
There were so many talented individuals, both soloists and chorus members that it is difficult  to single people out, but I was impressed with the following numbers
From the “Wicked” selection Ilana Jane and Oliver Skinner, along with Angharad Elson with full ensemble and Nerys Heslop.
From “School of Rock” Heidi Hodkinson, The group that performed “If Only You would Listen” and Jake Bellamy and Child Ensemble.
From “ J.C Superstar”. Jack Pocock, Jo Postle and Company. Male ensemble for The Last Supper. Bethan Norman and Company and Luca Hodkinson for Pilates Dream
From Phantom. Heini Skinner, “Think of Me” Rhys Probert “Point of No Return and adult chorus.
From “Lion King” The groups that performed Hakuna Matata,  and Shadowland.
“Les Mis”.  I loved all of this selection but will mention Nick Skinner for Bring Him Home, Shannon Bradbury “ I Dreamed a Dream”  Master of the House” was brilliant as was “One Day More”
My stand out performance goes to the man that had me in tears with both his numbers, Mark Bonner, a relative newcomer put his heart and sole into both “Gethsemane” and “Stars” and wowed us all with his powerful voice.
I enjoyed every moment of this show, and every number and member deserves a mention so I have had to pick my favourites.
You have a friendly, talented society and you go from strength to strength, i have noticed a lot of younger chorus members who are giving their all when they are on stage and I know it wont be long before we see them taking centre stage.
I am looking forward ti Disney with you. I am glad I was able to make this show.
