This is how it all begins. Take a group of seven to nine year olds and put them on stage to sing and dance in front of a very enthusiastic audience and you have the makings of a future society.

This was a very daunting first (and only) night for this group of eight children and they were obviously quite nervous but as the show went on they gained their confidence.

We were treated to  variety of Disney songs and tunes some of which I hadn't heard before. The children introduced each item and provided us with a little information to set the scene. They obviously enjoyed themselves and had worked hard remembering words and dance steps.

The recorded music was excellent for the dance numbers but I felt that a sympathetic keyboard player would have given the children more confidence especially with their solo songs.

The simple costumes were all that were needed to set the scenes and as long as you have a glittery hat for the finale that's all that matters.

Congratulations to the hard working production team and helpers who had obviously spent a lot of time working with these youngsters. The children certainly looked to be enjoying themselves and I am sure that this little show will have inspired them to go on and do more. A delightful short, but very sweet, evening's entertainment.
