DICK WHITTINGTON AND HIS CAT

Did I enjoy this pantomime? Oh yes I did.

There was a great deal to enjoy and admire in this first pantomime that Kids from Crigg have produced. I think that congratulations must first go to the production team. They did a wonderful job of welding all these tallented young people together to give such an excellent production. All the casting was good but I must mention a few. I was most impressed with King Rat (Cody Warren) who was most impressive at challenging Fairy Bow Belle (Ellie Bishop) and Fairy Sprite (Lucy Leonard) they worked well together to foil King Rat. Dick Whittington (Emily Barlow) was a splendid Principal Boy singing and acting with confidence and Tommy the Cat (Olivia Bowes) gave a most lovable performance. Sarah the Cook (George Black) worked hard on the audience and had some great costumes. Alderman Fitzwarren (Oscar Gay) moved well on stage and was very confident with all his lib. Last but certainly not least Idle Jack (Tyler Warren) and Alice Fitzwarren ( Evie Mansfield-Smith) both have  a wonderful stage presence and gave brilliant performances and must have a great future in musical theatre.
