The Panto was directed and produced well with a large group of diverse players of all ages. The pacing was strong and energetic with expert blocking and movement throughout.
The choreography was very professional, and performed excellently. Energetic support came from an excellent dance troupe, a very talented group indeed. A beautiful ballet solo was also included and a beautiful ballet solo.
There was an excellent range of music, both recorded and live, with a talented group of singers. The choice of songs and pieces of music added much to the atmosphere and enjoyment of the show. Support came from the talented and enthusiastic group of singers.
The selection of costumes (including the Dame) was wonderfully appropriate. The Dame, flashy and loud, the Rat King exquisite; the ensemble dressed as Pirates were fantastic.
The set was masterly constructed and managed. My favourite was aboard the ship, with a mannequin looking very life-like in the Crows Nest. But all the scenes were equally impressive.
The ensemble of lead actors was impressive and convincing, with many stand-out performances. The supporting cast, of which there were many, were all well-observed and added to the energy and comedy of the panto, making each scene a delight.
In closing I would like to thank all of those involved for such an enriching and heart-warming experience that will be loved by big kids of all ages.
