This glorious celebration of the music of George Gershwin, beautifully sung and danced by principals and chorus and accompanied by a superb 13 piece band, started ROS's Centenary year with a bang. And set in 1930, with the Follies routines of the period replicated by ten dancers in spectacular sets of costumes inventively lit, it delighted our eyes as well, while the nonsensical plot was played to the full by the talented cast and love triumphed in the end.
