Another home-grown comedy written by the Director cleverly launched us into the two worlds of Jane (Austen and Marple) as a Murder Mystery Group gathered (with some newcomers, so explanations of the Rules could be “overheard” by the audience) to perform unrehearsed in period costumes and language as far as possible. Played brilliantly for comedy by Arrow’s stalwarts, taking opportunities for mixing modern and period, changing characters and on occasions sex, this was a tightly plotted, hilarious evening.
