Without her programme notes, the audience would have been completely unaware that this was a directorial debut. There were so many imaginative ideas, not least in the use of a restricted performance space. A strong cast captured their characters, with some outstanding vocal performances. Every production is a learning experience and this bodes extremely well for future shows from the same team.
