Colder Than Here

This was a tautly directed production of Laura Wade’s interesting study of a family facing the prospect of bereavement while carrying on with the minor irritations of life.
The main set, depicting the living room was well furnished and in period, while the area down right, which depicted the various burial places that the family visited was used to very good effect,  .
The cast of four all gave very creditable portrayals.
Given  the subject matter, it would be easy to let the performance stray into mawkishness, but this was avoided.
