Abergavenny Pantomime Company took Abergavenny by storm with their latest fabulous pantomime, Cinderella!

Bringing us a light show which lit up the theatre with excitement they just pull out all the stops and manage tp keep their ticket prices down so all the families can enjoy a half term treat and also APC donate to charity, which is commendable Written by the master of wit Liz Davies, this was an excellent script.

Cinderella the favourite of so many including me, although a Noda survey surprisingly announced recently that Aladdin is the most popular pantomime. We all loved every minute and one thing in this pantomime we all agreed on was that the pumpkin was definately one of the  stars!

Tom Roynon Blake really made the most of it, well done, before turning into a glittering coach pulled by those adorable white mice and horses. Another suave performance from the unique Zac Williams as Stanislav

An exceptional performance of Buttons from Alex Williams brought high energy and confidence he held scenes together brilliantly with great pathos well, we knew he would not get his favourite girl the charming Cinderella, a lovely performance from golden voiced Chelsea Viveash, a great duo with Megan Trinder as Dandini.   . Suzanne Meates, fabulous as the feisty Fairy Godmother with the lovely voice was brilliant her asides were refreshing, sweetness can be so bland! Legend Ken Jones Candy and Stephen Clark Floss as the Ugly Sisters were absolutely hilarious so very funny the theatre was in uproar scenes with those two dancing around wigs flying was side splitting! Ken Watkins was back hooray, with his jolly characterisation of the King! Andrea Marfell as the wicked Baroness really was simply the best at this evil character with Baron Hardup Peter Holder

The original choreography with interesting positioning was the work of talented Molly Brickley Clark and Caitlyn Price

Well done Stephen, Jaci and all the team

A fantastic night of fun and laughter you cannot beat it!
