The Woodford Pantomime is a local tradition that returned this Christmas after a two-year enforced break. This year’s Cinderella was an extravaganza of Panto fun. Wonderful sets, magnificent costumes, a lighting design of West End proportions and special effects to match. All the ingredients for traditional family Panto were in place with lots of audience participation and familiar songs.

The music was a delight with a fully involved live band that provided effects, accompaniments and cymbal clashes.  The cast had a mix of experience with those new to the art matching those with more Pantos under their frocks. With a helicopter to take Cinders to the ball where the invited guests danced to Tiger Feet and Ballroom Blitz this pantomime provided everyone with a new year smile and a lovely happy time.
